The Cameron Public Library will be having a Summer Reading Program through July 2018. Monday and Thursday evenings will host special programs for children.
On June 21st, the program will feature Backyard Birds! This program will concentrate on a few birds that can be spotted in our backyards. Children will learn about what makes a bird a bird, their color differences, the sounds of the songs they sing, and why they are important to us. They will also learn what they can do to help our birds make a successful home for themselves in our yards. The program consists of a slideshow, some entertaining videos, a take-home activity, suggested reading material, and handouts. To be presented by Cindy Bolch, Master Naturalist. (Free Books)
